Refuge

a 4k 120fps binaural experience

A young woman is running away in the forest. She finds shelter in a chapel where a strange ceremony is happening.

In this experimental short film, Thibaut Duverneix and David Drury played with 4k resolution with 120fps high frame rate and 3d sound at 32.2. In this super high resolution binaural experience, the audience forgets the technology and is immersed into a slightly surreal world.
This is an HD version at 30fps with Binaural sound, the 4k UHD 120fps version with 3d sound is broadcasted during special events.

Refuge is co-produced with bcom, a French Institute of Research & Technology specialized in hypermedia, Jimmy Lee, the production house of international communication agency Sid Lee, and BLVD, a multi-platform content production business.
